Welcome Back

Whew! Where have I been, you ask?? lots of busyness happening but all in a good way!

Blogging is hard, no doubt about it! Uploading photos of FB is much easier, so I am going that route for photos. Check out the page and join up!

New fall season means new fall classes! I hope I do not dissappoint and give you folks what you are in need of...getting out and socializing and creating something wonderful all at the same time!

My youngest has just gone off to University all the way to Ottawa :-(, so needlees to say I will have much time to devote to getting in the "studio" to create some magic! I have been searching blogs for ideas and have come up with a few that are crazy wonderful! I could sit here all day doing just that...

So check out some of the new blogs I am following cause some of their inspirational projects will make it to my craft table...and into your decor! Most are too gorgeous to hide in a book, so either frame them or display them on a stand. Be proud of your creations!

until next time,

shop day

Good afternoon, scrapping Diva's!!

I would like to take this opputunity to apologize to anyone who either stopped by today at the shop or was intending to come to the crop, but at 11:10, I had a family emergency of sorts, so had to be away for the afternoon. Consequently, no one here to mind the shop! I will make that up for you ladies, I'll put an extra day in during hte month on October. The colours are beautiful in the trees, and would make wonderful layouts!

I do still have room in some of my classes, and please stop by to the shop to see all the new paper lines in Graphic 45 (Steampunk Spells, 12 Days of Christmas, Mother Goose, Typography), Basic Grey (25 & Pine), Theresa Collins (Christmas), Authentic, Bo Bunny (the Avenues), My Minds Eye (Christmas), Simple Stories (Simply Cheese, Christmas, Sn@p), and all kinds of other goodies pertaining to Tim Holtz! Glitter, paint, ink, Ideaology, Paper, embossing folders, some dies (can order specifically for you!) and your ScorTape headquarters~

Also a reminder that I do sell Stampin' Up! products, so if anyone would like any of the new Christmas goodies, or some of their wonderful cardstock, please email your order, and you will have it within 8 days so you can get started on all your Christmas cards!!

Have a wonderful weekend! And remember....

Weekend

Hi there everyone!

I would really love to thank you all of you ladies for coming by this weekend! It is so wonderful to see everyone after a Summer break as well as meet new and totally awesome new scrappers to join us!

I am going to be one busy lady, getting together with all of you to share some really cool techniques! I have registered to take Tim Holtz's chem102 this fall, and as some of you remember after I took the first one, boy, did we learn lots!

The weather has cooled off a bit from last week, so can get out there and take some fall shots to scrap. It wasn't until I do was doing some of my layouts that I discovered I don't have those photos! On the agenda this fall, apple orchard picking! Even if I have to drag those kids kicking and screaming! ( the ones at home are 17 & 22!)

Hi Folks!! Just getting all my stuff ready for an Open House I will be having here next week to showcase my up and coming classes! I used to do this with my painting classes and it worked really well, so I'm trying it with my scrapping classes. Only thing is, I have to get all the projects ready to view for you all to look at and sign up for. A lot of work at the outset, but usually worth it! You come by, look and choose which classes you would like to sign up for, pay a deposit or the whole thing, and you are in there! Some classes will be limited, and it is first come-first served, so sign up to avoid disappointment!

I have so much creating these things, but sometimes it is hard to stay indoors in this beautiful weather! It will only last so long, so I'm trying to get out to enjoy at least an hour or so outdoors.

This coming Friday, Sept. 13 from 10:00-7:00 as well as Saturday, Sept. 14, from 10:00-5:00 at 47 Parr Blvd in Utopia, I will be here with all these wonderful, new projects! Most are using the latest paper lines, however some are from last years collections, mainly because I just LOVE the paper!!

If you would like to be added to my mailing list to receive my latest flyer, just message me your email, and I will get that out to you right away!

And tomorrow is supposed to rain, and what better day to stay in and work on projects! But where am I??? Of course it's raining, and what better place to be other than in Gravenhurst racing a 3km race on Gull Lake! I did it last year as well, and boy was it raining! Although it is fun, being out in the rain all day can certainly dampen your spirits...no pun intended.

Enjoy your weekend, ladies, and I look forward too seeing you all next weekend!

Cheers,
Cheryl

Hey everyone!!
Wow, story of my life, taking forever to post something! Just had a couple wonderful ladies taking a layout class with me, and boy, they were lickity-split fast! Carin has just started her blog, and has inspired me to keep mine updated, at least once per week.

I do have my store open for a couple more days next week, then I will be taking the summer off. I will certainly post any days I do plan to have either a crop or the store open, if I plan to do so, throughout the summer, but as we all know, summer is so short, we gotta cram all our outdoor stuff in before the snow flies.

I am busy getting some mini albums done. Got hired out to design my first wedding invite, so that was cool! She is now happily married and enjoying their honeymoon in Greece. Nice exotic and romantic place for sure!
I am going to try to get some
youtube videos up on the blog, but that may turn out to be an exercise in frustration. I'll keep you posted!! :))

In the craft room now looking to get a load of thank-you cards and birthday cards made, get some ideas flowing for the Christmas season (just got the new Stampin Up! Holiday catalogue --- WOW!---break open the bank!).

Look forward to some cool classes coming in the fall. I do have lots of Tim Holtz product on hand along with one of the new lines of Graphic 45, Steampunk Spells. I would also like to try and get my painting classes up and running, as I do find it combines fantastically well with the altered art media.
So hey! Enjoy your wonderful day, with all this terrific sunshine, and Happy Summer Solstice tomorrow!!

Cheers,
Cheryl
